Consumers, Inc. specializes in production flame cutting, shearing, brake and hydraulic press forming up to 175 tons, sawing, rolling up to 3/8", blanking up to 1000 tons, and welding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. All of our welders are state certified to A.W.S. D1.1. Our Quality Assurance Program is third party audited by ITS, Intertech Testing Services, on a semi-annual basis, and meets the ANSI Z34.1 requirements. Additional services Consumers, Inc. can provide include Value Engineering of existing products with CAD drafting and design.

Consumers Inc. manufactured in-ground automotive lifts for Gilbarco Inc., in 1986, and later several two-post above ground lift models of our design. Both were sold under the Gilbarco name. In 1991, Gilbarco sold the assets and merchandising rights for in-ground lifts to Consumers Inc, at which time the name was changed to Manitowoc Lifts.
